25th Symposium on Boundary Layers and Turbulence<\/h1><\/a>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

From 17 to 20 June 2025, the American Meteorological Society (AMS) organised in Turin the 25th Symposium on Boundary Layers and Turbulence<\/a>.<\/strong> This event brought together researchers and experts from around the world to discuss the dynamics of the atmospheric boundary layer, the thin portion of the atmosphere where human activities are concentrated and which we directly influence.\n\nThis year\u2019s topics included turbulence theory, multi-scale interactions, complex environments (topography, urbanisation, etc.), applications to major societal challenges (energy, climate, wildfires, and more), as well as new observation methods, modelling, and artificial intelligence.<\/p>

This conference provided an opportunity to present the AWACA project, as well as the first results from the campaign conducted during the 2024\u20132025 austral summer.\n\nWe are particularly proud to announce that the poster presented by Justine Charrel was awarded third place in the category Poster Presentations Awards<\/em>. This award, presented by the symposium\u2019s scientific committee, recognises the scientific quality and clarity of the work presented.\n\nWe would like to extend our sincere thanks to Justine Charrel and all the co-authors of the poster for their commitment and excellent work, and we warmly congratulate them on this outstanding international recognition.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
